The message says that they tried to deliver your parcel contents today but no body was in and directs you to a website to reschedule a new date. Beware! It is a scam. The text contains a malicious link that aims to steal your personal and financial information.

Local-depot26 Scam text is sent by scammers who want to get your personal information so they can use it to scam you. The hacking website purports to be the United Kingdom Post Office and asserts a package requires to be delivered. It then requests a fee of £1.45 for the re-delivery and requests the holders’ credit card information and security code. Don’t dare click on the link. It’s all Scam! The text messages most times contain viruses, spywares, malwares, which are harmful to devices and can hack and destroy your mobile phone.
The link in the text message redirects you to other phishing websites that trick victims and also hack their personal information. This happens when you click on the link.
This scam is so rampant that many people have left some reviews online saying its a scam.
