The scammers would request for your Paypal account details, then you’d be led to another website ‘xmkhcs.com’ were you’ll be asked to provide your credit card details to pay for just $10 to claim your PayPal $1000 gift card.
This is where the scam comes in.
Once you submit your credit card details, the scammers would steal all the money in your account, and also sell your personal information to the dark web.
