Why Coitem.com Is Risky- Redflags Discovered
During our in-depth investigation, we discovered the following cons of this Online Store.
Fake Address
The address provided by coitem.com is fake and in no way linked to the store. When you search for the address on Google map, you’d realize the address belongs to a residential home.
We believe this is enough red-flag to stay away from this store.
Unbelievable Discount
coitem.com uses it low price as a bait to make you shop from them. As we have observed from many fraudulent websites, this is just a way for them to get shoppers trooping to their store. It doesn’t mean they would fulfill their end of the bargain.
Suspicious Nature Of Coitem Com
Apart from the points mentioned above, we find other reasons why we think this e-commerce is not a safe store to shop from. Below are reasons why you shouldn’t shop from coitem.com –
- coitem.com provides fake social media buttons. When you click on them, they don’t take you to any social media page.
- This store was registered few months back, so it has no history.
- The website is not a safe place, as it was hastily done. We believe legitimate online stores would invest in a standard website, not this untidy theme used by Coitem store.
- We came across their ads on Facebook, for hot tubs, bourbon, but when we visited the website on a different browser we realized this store deals female wears. This screams scam!
What We Found about coitem.com!
At first glance, coitem.com appears to be a legitimate online store selling female wears. However, on further investigation, the store provides fake social media buttons, fake address, and was registered barely weeks ago.
Just like Stylishmodewe, Peiwq, Patchamperes, Playsetskids, Noatanice, kznice, this store lures you with low prices, but when you order for the items, you might not anything.
If you have been scammed by these lots, we advise you to immediately file a report with your bank. This would stop these lots from tampering with your account details in the future.
Regarding Coitem purchases and paypal. I was also scammed by them and Paypal is not helping me. I made a purchase on July 8th and the shipping information shows the package delivered on July 6th. Paypay is saying my package was delivered so they are not helping me. So here is some information, please contact the Federal Trade Commission add 1 877 382-4357. File your complaint against not only Coitem but Paypal also. I just filed the complaint, and they said I should post this to let everyone know to file a complaint, because the more complaints the better for all us to get resolves. Also you can call the USPS and have them check your tracking and they can give you information on the delivery. They cannot tell you the exact address it was delivered to, but can confirm it was not your address. In my case they confirmed the weight of the package which was 6 ounces. My order was for a chaise lounge chair. I have also filed a complaint with the Postal Inspector. We all need to do this to get results and stop this fraud, from both Coitem and Paypal for supporting them.
As a follow up from my post yesterday, regarding Coitem and Paypal. I just spoke with the United States Postal Inspector’s office. There are multiple agencies working on this problem. It has been going on for quite awhile across the US. So Paypal has been well aware of what is happening. Apparently someway they are getting shipping information from other paypal purchases that have the same zip code and using that to show shipping. So, you can go to USPIS.gov/Report and file a complaint for mail fraud.
I would like to give another update regarding Coitem and Paypal. Paypal has agreed to refund my money, I have been dealing with this since July 8th. So here is some information that may help you. Call the United States Postal Inspector, they can email you a list showing the delivery times and locations. This is how I proved I did not receive my item. I owe a special thanks to the Post Office. I have not received the refund yet, but they say I will have it in a few days. Hope this helps some of you.
I am in the same boat. How did you get United States Postal Inspector to email you a list. It’s a nightmare of phone options when I call their office.
