[email protected] Scam – Beware of this Fake Microsoft Account Team Email!
Have you received an email from [email protected]? Beware! It is a scam. It is not from Microsoft.
Currently, more than two thousand people have complained of receiving the fake email from [email protected].
The email looks this way –
“The following security info was recently added to the Microsoft account *@outlook.com”
[email protected]
Recipients are made to believe it was from Microsoft and told to click “it was not me”.
How do You Know It’s a Scam?
First of all, the email address is a dead giveaway. It is malicious and not from the alleged company. .
Secondly, when we received this email and clicked the link, our email address was compromised. Since then we’ve been getting 50 spam emails a day in our inbox.
What Should You Do If You Receive Spam Emails Like This
No matter how convincing it make sound, we advise you not to call the number or click the link, or attempt to send a message to the number. This is because once you do so, they would find a way to convince you to send money or your personal information.
