Is The Egyptian Magic Cream Worth The Hype? Read This
Did you come across ads about the Egyptian Magic Cream? This product claims to be an all purpose cream. Can it really get rid of acne scars, relieve eczema and psoriasis? I have extremely sensitive skin and was hesitant to try something that seemed oily. However TikTok convinced me and I gave it a try.
About Egyptian Magic Cream
The Egyptian Magic cream claims to do almost anything: moisturizing, treating spots, helping with eczema and psoriasis, as a lip balm, and even after-sun care. But is it just a hype?
The Ingredients Inside
Olive oil (olea europaea oil), beeswax, honey, pollen, royal jelly and propolis extract
My Experience With Egyptian Magic Cream
I bought this product after seeing a TikTok review, and wow, she was right! This cream gives your face amazing moisture by morning. It’s pretty thick and feels really luxurious, and you can use it anywhere on your body that needs extra hydration.
The only downside is that it’s a bit oily. It’s not super greasy like some other products, but it does feel oilier than I expected. Because of this, I had to use less on my face to avoid any shine or extra oiliness. On the bright side, even with the oiliness, it didn’t cause any problems for my skin. It kept its promise of moisturizing well and made my skin look and feel better. If you have dry skin or like a dewy finish, you might actually enjoy the slight oiliness.
Customer Reviews
The customer reviews online are mostly positive. Most of the customers have shared their experiences on Amazon and Reddit, here are some of them.
I am not one to post reviews but felt this one was warranted! I’ve used this magic cream for three days now, only at night. My skin was dry and broken out a little. To my surprise after two uses my breakout was almost gone, my skin supple and glowing. My makeup goes on smoother and my skin is looking better and better each day. I also used this in other dry areas like my elbows, knees, arm pits and bikini area where I shave and I cannot say enough good things about this product!!! Worth the money! Buying a 2nd one now
Prior to trying Egyptian Magic, I had been using an expensive French brand for a few years, with satisfactory results. Then, on a whim, I asked a French colleague what French women use for facial moisturizer. He consulted with his wife, who recommended Egyptian Magic. On first application, I felt it was much too greasy for my skin. But my face felt super soft the following day! Now, after using it nightly for 2 weeks, I noticed my face is much softer, with less noticeable wrinkles and more even skin tone. I would highly recommend Egyptian Magic to anyone.

Egyptian Magic Cream Review: Is It Worth It?
Is it worth the hype? Not really. I noticed my face seemed less dry, however, it wasn’t a miracle in the sense where acne went away, wrinkled disappeared, sun spots disappeared. it’s almost the exact same to me as Farmacy’s Honey Savior salve, just without the horrible smell. I like it well enough, but I definitely think it’s over hyped. I put it on as my last step on nights when I need extra moisture, but by the time I wake up it has all rubbed off on my pillow and I don’t notice much of an effect.
I liked it only for the hydration from it and only wear it during bitter cold weather.
How to Use Egyptian Magic
- Use a small amount. A little goes a long way!
- Dip your finger in, like you’re sneaking a taste of frosting.
- Rub it between your fingers or palms until it melts.
- Gently apply it to the area you want to treat.
Will I Buy Again: Final Words
Maybe. It’s very greasy and oily and i’m not sure it’s doing a good job moisturizing since i still have dry patches. The ingredients are nice, can’t tell if it’s helped with my overall complexion but again the grease is hard to get over.
If you have sensitive skin or allergies, be careful! Honey and bee products can have pollen from flowers and weeds, which might cause a reaction if you’re allergic. I don’t recommend this for people with allergies or sensitive skin.
