My Experience using the Eka Jaya Fast Boat

Despite reading a lot of bad reviews, I booked this ferry the evening before going over to the gilis. Additionally, The price was decent (you have to pay 10k (70ct) rupees extra fee at the harbour), and the personal were helpful. Nothing got stolen or lost on the way and the ferry was as fast as advertised (we left 20min late and arrived 20min late).

The most important thing is that Eka jaya has by far the biggest boats out of all speed boat companies. The crossing from Bali to lombok can get pretty choppy, and the smaller boats really aren’t built to handle large swells. The Eka jaya boat does way better due to it’s bigger size.
The boat is also the only one that goes to gili meno or gili air.

However if you are in a hurry, you probably shouldn’t consider this as an option because they never leave or arrive at the expected time.
