As opposed to their claims, the government does not have any knowledge of the site In fact, no government sites said anything about such a card. Rather the  USA.gov website  is warning people about “imposters” pretending to represent “someone in authority.” It’s merely a sales trick.

The other part of the scam makes use fake video ads of celebrities like Oparah Winfrey just to build trust. When I searched on Google News, all I found were links to TikTok videos, and there’s no legit information that confirms Winfrey has ever supported a “Minimum Wage Subsidy Card.”

Although the voice in the audio sounded like the celebrity’s, it’s important to note that AI technology can replicate voices of public figures using real voice samples, as reported by The Washington Post.
