There is an ongoing Facebook Scam which says “I Can’t Believe He’s Gone Facebook Scam” Beware! Its a scam! The text contains a malicious link that aims to steal your personal and financial information.

Currently, more than hundred people have complained of receiving I Can’t Believe He’s Gone Facebook Scam Scam Text this January 2024.

I Can’t Believe He’s Gone Facebook Scam 2024 – How does it work?

The text is sent by scammers who want to get your personal information so they can use it to scam you. The text says – I Can’t Believe He’s Gone Facebook Scam.

Don’t dare click on the link. It’s all Scam! The link goes to a fake Facebook website that asks visitors to sign in. The text messages most times contain viruses, spywares, malwares, which are harmful to devices and can hack and destroy your mobile phone.

Once you open the message, you will be prompted to log in again and the scammers will be able to view your credentials and steal them. It’s also likely that once you open the message, your computer will be infected with the malware and then proceed to send the same “I Can’t Believe He’s Gone Facebook” message to other users via your account.

The Text Format

How To Identify Facebook Scam Text:

  • People who you’ve never met face-to-face asking you for money.
  • People asking you for upfront fees in exchange for giving you a prize, loan, or something else you have “won”
  • Someone asking you to move the conversation to email instead of remaining on Facebook Messenger.
  • The text is asking for personal information or banking information
  • The message is unsolicited and contains an attachment.
