Jeremy’s Chocolate Review: Is It Better Than Hershey’s?

A week after Hershey’s controversial women’s day campaign which featured a trans-woman,  Daily Wire’s Jeremy Boreing has launched its own chocolate. Aside from its awesome commercial which is the currently the talk of the internet, is this chocolate worth the hype? lets find out!

Jeremy Chocolate – Everything You Need To Know About It

It’s a newly launched chocolate that comes in two varieties; Nuts & Nutless. Jumping on the Hershey’s SheHer controversy campaign, these ones are also called HeHim SheHer. According to the website ‘Some chocolate companies don’t even know what a woman is. But we do. Indulge in the chocolate binary. One with nuts, one without. You know which is which‘ Sounds witty right?

One of the standout perks of this product is that it is for everyone. Whether you’re allergic to nuts or not. You can also add the feeling of using a ‘protest’ product.

However, aside from being a brand with an initiative against woke corporations, could Jeremy’s Chocolate beat Hershey’s hands down?

Lets look at the ingredients;

Jeremy’s HeHim Chocolate Ingredients

FAIR TRADE COCOA BUTTER, FAIR TRADE ORGANIC CANE SUGAR, DRIED MILK POWDER, DRY ROASTED DICED ALMONDS, FAIR TRADE COCOA POWDER

Jeremy’s SheHer Chocolate Ingredients

Where are Jeremy’s Chocolate Made?

There’s no information on the website about where the chocolate are manufactured. However the website says it is manufactured in a facility that also processes milk, wheat, peanuts, almond, coconut, and hazelnuts.

What I Like About Jeremy Chocolate

  • It allows Payment in 4 interest-free installments for orders over $50.00

What I Don’t Like About It

  • I’ve to wait for two months before it’s delivered

Jeremy’s Chocolate Vs Hershey’s Chocolate – Which is better?

Hershey’s chocolate has been in the market for a long time, and as a result of this, the company knows what buyers want. However, prior to the campaign controversy, the company was being sued for allegedly failing to disclose the presence of lead and cadmium in several of its dark chocolate bars. On the other hand, Jeremy’s Chocolate look promising, though it has not been tested by the public yet.

The commercial is fun and the product ingredients look okay, however, I’m not convinced it is worth $6.99. Speaking from experience, Jeremy doesn’t make products that beats its controversial competitor. For example, its razor (see my review of it here) did not live to its hype. It couldn’t beat that of Harry’s. So I don’t have high expectations for this chocolate bar.

Conclusion

Jeremy’s chocolate binary looks promising, however we’re not certain if it is worth the $24.99 preorder price. Meanwhile, there’s no information about where it’s manufactured. As a result of this, we cannot vouch for its quality.

  1. We ordered 48 bars and the total cost with shipping was $112 and took 4 months to arrive. Some of the bars arrived broken and crammed into the box. The worst part is the way it tastes. It leaves an after taste and is somewhat bitter considering it’s supposed to be milk chocolate. Also the nuts are all chopped into little pieces so we are not even sure they are almonds. This seems more like a scam or a bait and switch than a genuine attempt to make a quality product from a company whose views align with my values. This is so disappointing. They basically have a non existent return policy under any conditions. So buy this product at your own risk. We just threw $112 in the garbage.
