Licautable Hair Straightener- Is It Worth It?
Whether you’re aiming for a cool or chic sleek hair, we all know one important tool to your A game is your straightening iron. However, it can be a tad difficult to find the one that’s the best for your hair.
Some flat irons claim to prevent damage, others claim to be made with the best material for healthy shine, but most times it gives the opposite result.
Is Licuatable one of such hair straighteners? let’s find out!
First of all, it is important to point out that Ceramic Hair Straightener like this one is suitable for people with soft thin hair. This is because ceramic flat irons take longer to heat up, and they work by heating your hair from the inside out. Their titanium counterparts heat up nearly immediately and heat your hair from the surface.
However, ceramic flat irons are generally considered a safer option, especially if you have thin or damaged hair. Why? it uses a more gentle compared to Titanium hair straightener.
Drawbacks:
Bad Company Reputation
One thing I noticed when I visited the website ‘licautable.com’, was the Company name – Vankin Company Limited. If you’re big in online shopping as I am, the sight of the name rings a warning alarm. Why?
It is the parent company of a lot of shady online stores. I’ve even written a review here, detailing how this company works. For more information, you can check online. Vankin Company limited is the father of bait and switch scams.
Shady Refund Policy
As a rule, I always check the return policy of any online store before making an order. Why? most cases it reveals a can of worms, and save me from heartbreak. I kid you not!
So, licautable.com clearly stated on their website that the return cost shall be borne by the buyer. Why this might not sound pretty bad in your ears, It actually is! Especially in this case.
How?
In the real sense, Vankin Company Limited is not located in London. Like most of the reviews online indicate, the products came all the way from China. So there’s a likelihood that the return fee might be equivalent to the cost of the item. In the end you’re either stuck with a product you don’t want, or pay another money to return the product. A case of penny wise pound foolish!
Licuatable is definitely scammer, I order mine and never got it, they provide you a fake shipping track, Be Careful with them!!
Thank you for sharing! I was just gonna buy the flat iron but thought I would do some research first. Of course the commmet section on Facebook was all good, but I’m sure a lot are fake. Glad I checked This out thank you for the warning!
Dont buy- they sent me the wrong item and told me I had to pay for the return despite what their policy says. They are based out of China and they also stated in my email that if the return item gets ‘lost’ I won’t get my money refunded so I’m sure if I sent it back they would claim it got lost and keep my money and their item. Very rude emails from their company and I’m stuck with a flat iron that I did not purchase-it was not the same flat iron that was advertised.
Great views on Facebook. So ordered it! These review were not on line before, just appeared now. I count on facebook to screen scammers but I guess the only filter what we write as citizens. Never again.!!
