Class 1: Folks who called the D Street apartments in Salida, Colorado, their home on May 2, 2017. Class 2: People whose security deposits decided to go on a permanent vacation when they moved out of 102-120 D Street apartments, 233 E. 1st St., or 117 ½ F St. anytime between April 24, 2017, up until now. Class 3: Anyone who decided to rent a spot at 102-120 D Street apartments, 233 E. 1st St., or 117 ½ F St. since April 24, 2015, from M&M Rentals.

How Much Is The Settlement

M&M Rentals didn’t fess up to anything, but they’re ponying up $1 million to put the rental class action lawsuit to bed.

Now, how much money you get depends on which class you’re in.

If you’re in Class 1, you’ll get some cash based on the damages you suffered, both economic and noneconomic. Class 2 folks will get paid based on how much of their security deposits M&M Rentals kept. Class 3 members will see some moolah based on the rent they shelled out during the class period.
