        1. you shouldn’t have put your personal gmail. that’s the first thing you should know when you’re dealing with an illegal website.

  1. As far as I know, streaming is illegal for the STREAMER, not the viewer. We should be fine, it’s the host of the website that will be fined and put in jail.

    1. no, it can still be traced back to you and you can still be punished for watching. common misconception, but watching pirated movies is still piracy

      1. Literally just use a vpn and your fine. The website literally tells you to use one. It’s not rocket science.

      2. “you can still be punished for watching. common misconception, but watching pirated movies is still piracy” is completely false.
Watching pirated content is not sharing or distribution of the said content, therefore does not infringe on any copyright: it’s perfectly legal.
Note: it is entirely possible for downloading to become illegal in the future, though still doubtful for any type of prosecution. At best it’s be a misdemeanor for possession of stolen property, so the court fees alone wouldn’t make it feasible for the copyright owners to pursue any action against the average person. As it stands now, there are no laws as such. Property must be physical in nature to be considered to be in your possession.

    2. So the person watching will not go to jail only the person who puts the movie on to the website will?

  2. do you think watching on myflixer would not be a very big issue if 1. I saw on another website about this same topic that every time u-turn on myflixer a little pop up asks you about something and if you agree the site is flooded with ads, so if you don’t check it. 2. you don’t make an account 3. you use 1 or multiple adblockers just in case and 4. you watch on an incognito tab and not be signed in or have any “interesting” info open. (maybe clear search history too)

    1. And I have also only been using it for a couple days with this affect anything. I have also noticed that it will take me to a site saying that my data has been stolen and my battery has been damaged. It will tell me to click on it and download a certain app and run it for a set amount of time. I haven’t clicked on these because I don’t want to risk it. Do you think I am doing the right thing? I am also getting inappropriate messages from people and I can’t tell if it is a pop up ad or if it is real. Please reply ASAP because I need to Know if I should shut this down! Thank you and kind regards

      1. It collects data of your cookies. If you don’t know what this means, it basically steals info about the sites you visited and your browsing history. Those things about your battery being damaged and everything is clickbait to download malwares onto your device, they are not real. The messages are fake too except if they come up in your message app then I don’t know what’s happening. Just to be safe I would recommend you watch movies in an incognito tab or private tab. If you haven’t been browsing incognito, I think that yes they were able to see every websites you have visited. And just a reminder NEVER TRUST THE POP UP ADS EVEN IF THEY SAY YOUR PHONE IS INFECTED IT IS FAKE AND NEVER DO WHAT THEY TELL YOU TO DO, just delete the tab if it created one itself or go back to where you were before clicking. Personally I’ve been using an ad blocker to watch movies and I’ve received no messages or warnings whatsoever. Hope I’ve helped and if I’m wrong somewhere just correct me. Have a nice day and stay home.

        1. About the whole illegal and jail thing, if I dont have account they CANT do anything to me? Also, should I use VPN or Adblock for it?

      2. I think those are either scams or ads… if your device had a problem it would notify you from its own source..
(e.g the battery low notification, the out of storage notification etc moreover if you are using the latest devices with high device care, your device will notify you when harm Is about*) ..and not from a website, dont u think ?
I would advice you not to download anything u did not intend on downloading in the first place but if you do suspect that your device has a problem you can download the antivirus apps from trusted sources that came with your device! e.g Play store if you are using an android.

  3. I have been watching my flicker that was recommended by a friend but if I just went in to watch a couple things could I be sued or getting fined or go to court just wanna know. And I don’t have an account but could they find out if I where on it

  4. I am legit scarred to death now…does anyone know how to permanently delete your myFlixer account because I really don’t want my whole life blown up by some website that I didn’t know was illegal?

  5. So i watched like 3 min of euphoria on it thinking it was safe, i didnt sign up or do anything. but i just need to know is MyFlixer Illegal?

  6. i have a stupid friend who thinks myflixer is legal as long as you don’t download the movies. Who is actually stupid, him or me?
