Lots of people have reported the text message and its content which claims recipients have an undelivered package due to shipping address issues, and should visit a website for redelivery.

The myusps-1.com scam text messages comes in the following formats –
”We failed to deliver your package for redelivery please head over to: https://myusps-1.com and reschedule a delivery”
”You’ve missed our delivery, for redelivery please head over to: https://myusps-1.com and reschedule the delivery of your parcel”
The text messages were sent with the following numbers – 1 (914) 943-0302, 1 (914) 943-0302, 1 (914) 943-0310, 914-943-0317. So far, they’re all from 914 area code.
How does This Scam work?
The scammers pretend you’ve an undelivered package due to shipping address issues. There’s a link attached to the text message for redelivery. However, the link ‘aidingusp.com’ is a malicious website. It works this way –
- Requests for processing fee
- Trick you into submitting your financial information
Sometimes, by clicking the link you make your device vulnerable to viruses, spywares, malwares, etc. which can hack your device and steal your passwords.
