When switched on, the epilator vibrates a lot and makes some kind of noise. The epilating area is too narrow to effectively remove tiny hair, it only works better on longer hair and not all kinds of hair as advertised.

One thing to watch out for is if you use it on your neck under your chin, make sure you hold your skin really tight to avoid any grabbing mishaps. I had that happen twice. And oh, I’m still figuring out how to release the head for cleaning; it seems a bit stiff.
