My Johnny hated getting brushed with the brown handle one(I have been brushing him with it since he was super tiny). Within a few strokes of the new brush he was in love. I never thought I would be able to brush him to get all the loose fur off of him. The other brush always had fur flying around and this brush keeps it all in place. The easy clean is a nice feature. This is a must have brush. His brother Waylon you may see off to the side doesn’t care which brush I use, but I will be using the new one since it is so much easier to use.

It seems comfortable for my cat and all, but the hair doesn’t stick to the brush like it does with a standard slicker brush with a rubber backing. i think the plastic frame that pushes the hair up makes it harder to get the hairs to cling to the bristles. I’ll stick with the $6 slicker brush from the grocery store.
