The Real Story Behind the SBLA Eye Lift Wand By Christie Brinkley
If you’re into beauty stuff, you might’ve come across the SBLA Eye Lift Wand. It’s supposed to magically give you an eye lift without surgery or needles. This product has been talked about in different media and was even endorsed by a celebrity named Christie Brinkley.
Is it just big talk and no results? We came across customer reviews from people who bought this product and their reviews were not pretty. This review will detail everything you need to know and my experience using this product for 2weeks.
About The SBLA Facial Sculpting Wand
The SBLA Eye Lift Wand is a tool that fights aging around your eyes using special technology and serum. It’s easy to use, portable, and comes with all you need: a charging cable, user manual, and serum bottle.
All you have to do is pump out the serum and roll it on your face with the stainless steel roller. While the brand talks big about how it can make your skin firmer over time but it’s just big talk and no results.
The ingredients inside include:
- Hyaluronic acid: Keeps skin hydrated and smooths wrinkles.
- Peptides: Boost collagen for firmer skin.
- Vitamin C: Brightens and protects from damage.
- Caffeine: Reduces puffiness and dark circles.
- Green tea extract: Soothes and fights inflammation.
Is SBLA Legit: How I Tried
I bought this thing from the SBLA website, not Amazon, but I wanted to share because I had a weird problem. Twice, on two different occasions (weeks apart), I used it. It did work to lift and open my eyes, but by the end of the night, my left pupil was HUGE. Same thing happened before, but the first time, it made my eyes itchy and scratchy, and I thought I scratched my eye.
The big pupil freaked me out, so I called my eye doctor. She asked if I used a new eye cream. Turns out, I did. She gave me some eye drops to use for a few days, and that fixed everything. I followed the directions perfectly, but I’m wondering if maybe I rubbed my eyes or accidentally got some of the stuff in one eye, causing the pupil thing. Really weird.
What I Like
- It’s portable and easy to use
- It’s available on many online websites
Cons
- Does not work
- Comes with many side effects
- The product is overpriced
How To Use
- Wash your face in the morning and before bed.
- Press the wand once to get the product on the roller.
- Roll it around your eyes gently, on your eyelids, under your eyes, and on the lines at the corners.
- Let it dry, and if you want, do it again.
- For ten minutes after using this, don’t use any other eye creams or serums.
Does SBLA Eye Lift Wand Work
No, this super expensive product not only didn’t do what it promised but it actually made my eyelids feel heavy and even more hooded! I had really high hopes for it, but honestly, it’s one of the worst eye products I’ve ever bought and it’s not just me who experienced this. The before and after pictures online are probably sponsored because there is no positive customer review about this online. Some of the customers who had similar experiences shared it on Amazon
I really wanted to like this product but unfortunately I will have to return it. I experienced terrible burning on my eyelids and under eye area.
I’ve been using the Eye Lift Wand for 2 weeks now and I’m seeing a big difference in my eyelids!! I’m very happy with this product! I have tried many creams and none have worked until this one.
If anything, it made my eyes worse. I am so disappointed because the hype made it sound great and it wasn’t. I waisted so much money
I had a reaction on both eyelids – almost like an eczema. I’ve never had any kind of reaction on my eyelids prior to this cream. I wish I hadn’t spent so much to trial a product for one use.
Are There Side Effects
Yes, this product can cause blepharitis which is very uncomfortable and difficult to get rid of. There are also issues with burning, rash, swollen face, red skin, tiny bumps and it’s not good for sensitive skin.
Final Words
Finally just because Christie Brinkley endorsed this product does not mean it works. The manufacturers claim its meant to make wrinkles, fine lines, and under-eye bags less noticeable when you use it regularly. I am so disappointed because the hype made it sound great and it wasn’t, I wasted so much money
