I Tried Soap Cover Grey Coverage Bar Shampoo: Here’s The Outcome After 3 Weeks
I bought three bars of Soap Cover bar shampoo from Amazon at $99.90 and used it for 3 weeks everyday. I have used the first bar consistently everyday and somedays twice a day (gym days) and got partial progress.
The first time I used it, it was fantastic. My scalp felt very clean and fresh. It smelt so good and it is quick foaming. I waited for 15 minutes as directed but I did not notice any change to my grey hair. As a shampoo it’s very nice on my hair. However, the bar is soft and wears down fast.
Three weeks later of using three bars of SoapCover Gray Hair Coverage Soap, there’s no change in my grey hair. I have light salt and pepper gray hair since I was in my late 20s, and there’s still no change after consistently using this bar shampoo for 3 weeks.
Does Soap Cover Shampoo Bar Transform Grey Hair To Its Natural Color?
The short answer to this question is No It does not darken hair as claimed. I was totally disappointed with the product and outcome. What’s saddening is that when sent emails for a refund, I was told told to keep using it, which I did for 3 weeks, still no change.
So, don’t expect a miracle. While it won’t suddenly turn hair dark, it makes thinning hair long and full, it might boost the hair’s volume or strengthen strands to prevent hair loss and breakage.
