Strictlymot Reviews: Scam Online Store! Buyers Beware!

Do you want to buy Segway dirt ebike from Strictlymot? Please DON’T do so! Strictlymot.com is not a legit online store. Presently, close to five hundred people have become victim of this fake online store. Read this honest review to find out how this scam works and how to get your money back.

Strictlymot.com: How Does This Scam Work

Strictlymot.com otherwise known as Strictlymot or Strictlymot com is a fraudulent online store that claims to sell variety of items at cheap price. Items like Makita cordless power tool, mini tiller, little tykes turtle sandbox, car ramp, etc are available for very affordable prices.

Sadly, the offers are not genuine. The scam works this way; it uses discount as a bait to entice unsuspecting buyers. Then when you make a purchase on the site, you’ll receive a debit alert and a confirmation mail, but that is were the transaction ends. There’s no feedback from the store, no reply to mails, and of course no tracking mail.

On TrustPilot, frustrated customers have left reviews calling the Strictlymot a scam. See some of the complaints below;

This is fraud website. I paid 42.20 usd for purchase of Vie Air 18 inch pedestal fan. The credit card payment was transferred to QHJYA, INC. HTTPSQHJYA.COFL.Both are fake they cheat my 42.20 usd neither they shipped the product nor they refund my money . Beware of this fake /fraud strictlymot.com

BEWARE!!! Scam site. Purchased a case of K-cups. 2 days later, the merchant charged another $9 to PayPal. Disputed the $9.00 charge and got that back. Now opening another dispute with PayPal over undelivered merchandise. It’s been over 30 days since my order.

Meanwhile, it’s quite annoying that a fraudulent business like this one is allowed to operate & run Ads on social media since February!

5 Reasons Why You Should Not Shop From Strictlymot.com

Fake Business Address

The store’s business address “103401 Overseas Hwy, Key Largo, FL 33037” is fake. The address is that of a single family home. Meanwhile, the residents have written a release on TrustPilot, informing the public that they’re not associated with Strictlymot.com. They’ve also filed a police report. See image below;

Zero Customer Support

The website’s email address “[email protected]” is not functional. On the other hand, its telephone number +1(320)-201-9588 does not work. Currently, no one have been able to reach the store successfully.

Ridiculous Discount:

Strictlymot is selling items for too good to be true prices. The discount margin is too large and unrealistic even on a sale. What this store simply does is use the cheap price to lure buyers. In reality, no legit store can offer such discount.

Lacks Security Measures:

The website isn’t risk-free, it isn’t secured with McAfee or Norton. The website is vulnerable to hackers who can tamper with customer’s personal and financial details.

Are You Safe If You Use PayPal To Make Purchase From Strictlymot.com

No, you’re not. Using PayPal does not guarantee a quick refund these days.

Some of these suspicious stores exploit a major issue with PayPal’s system. You purchase the item, a few days later they find a tracking number that has shipped to your area (completely unrelated to you or your item) and then they post this tracking number into your PayPal transaction. PayPal sees this as a complete transaction and almost impossible to dispute.

So using Paypal is no guarantee that you wouldn’t be scammed. You just need to be wise, and ready for anything.

How To Easily Spot a Scam Website

Check the Domain age – How old is the website? (You can do so by visiting who.is)

Physical Location – Does The website provide return address? If Yes (Copy the address and paste on your browser. Google map would show if it is a real warehouse address or a residential address)

Check Reviews – Are there customer reviews online? (It is advised that you sit it out if there are no customer reviews of the store. However if you’re not patient enough to wait you can send a mail to us to verify if the store is legit)

Social Media Presence – Do the social media icons work? (A lot of fraudulent websites provide social media buttons but they don’t work. It is advised that you check if the buttons really take you to the store’s social media page)

Conclusion:

Strictlymot located at Strictlymot.com is a viral scam online store luring customers with its cheap items. Don’t let the discount offer trick you! The store failed our authenticity test, and as such we don’t recommend it.

Have you been scammed?- Do This

Shopping from this store exposes customers to the risk of hacked credit card and overcharged fees. Also, customers would either receive an inferior item, a different cheaper item, or nothing at all.

Therefore, it is advised to file complaints to your bank and request for a new credit (debit) card. On the other hand, if you used Paypal as a method of payment, you should document (screenshot) the transactions for future purposes.

  1. Yea thanks. I am having an issue because I TRIED to cancel my order but their contact info isn’t valid. I contacted my bank to stop the transaction AND I contacted PayPal to stop it but nobody wants to. They said I can AFTER the transaction goes through. Well that’s just STUPID on the bank n PayPal. I’m not working n I needed this twin mattress. NOW I have to worry about my info??

  2. thank u for ur investigative researching on this online store along with all the other scam store fronts. Much appreciate the heads up warnings! The first thing i spot is the too low of price
    for the item. Im in construction and buy tools and when a price jumps off the screen my first thought is scam and too good to b true! but thank u for all ur hard work checkn on all of these sites! i only wish people would do the right thing and not cheat people I see too much of it in my line of work but it’s nice to have someone that confirms the suspicion of these websites because it’s definitely buyer beware so thank you again! 3. I ordered from them and since the date of my order Feb 8th I have emailed them at least 15 times a day. I also filed with the BBB. I also filed with my bank and made a report with my local authorities. I also filed a report with scammers.org a federal website to help people who have been scammed. I also contacted the USPS and made a report with them as well. I took screen shots of everything I did. I called them out on all their bullshit. I told them I would not leave them alone until I received my package or money back. I was not nice in my emails. I left at least 7 voicemails a day on the one phone number where you actually get a voicemail. Well today I checked my account and guess what was in there a full refund!!!! Don’t give up!! It took me filing reports, emailing them dozens a time per day, leaving voicemails every day but it paid off. I let them know at the end of every email and voicemail that I was not going away and that I would get a refund!! They will get tired of you and refund you your money so do what I did!! Praying for those who were scammed by this piece of crap company.

    1. THIS WEBSITE IS SO FAKE!! I suggest going here: https://complaint.ic3.gov/# and filing an internet crimes report with the FBI this will help remove the website from the internet. And file a complaint with GOOGLE search to have it removed from their search engine.

    2. WOW you were able to leave a voicemail? When I dialed the no. on the website I just got a recording saying my no could not be completed as dialed. I strongly suggest that people file an internet crimes report thru the FBI website: https://complaint.ic3.gov/#
