Took delivery of a iphone screen protection..Those like myself who have been tricked by this gamesdept should immediately contact card issuer and cancel your card for a new one.Quickly get that merchant block in place.And start your claim for your money back…Very clever scam with all the trimmings!!

Your money has probably been turned into bitcoin and no,you wont get your money back from these scum at thegamesdept.You should have used visa credit debit cards.A merchant block on your card and claim for your money back.You should contract ecommerce.guv
Like many, placed an order for PS5 console & Spiderman game 04/01/21, received a Pre-ordered confirmation email, Website, phone & email address now NOT recognised Nothing taken from bank acct, yet… will place a Merchant Block on bank acct. Sophisticated scam !!
I ordered a PS5 Disc console and the Spider Man game for my young son on 04/01/21 following an advert on a PS5 site, Initially their site seemed corrupted as the initial order page wouldn’t accept payment and I ended up ordering 3 consoles. I emailed them pointing this out and 2 days later my request was corrected and received a Pre-order confirmation e-mal later that day. Now their phone number, web site & email address is no longer recognised. So far payment has not been taken from my bank but I will place a Merchant Block on my Bank acct. BEWARE A VERY SOPHISTICATED SCAM !!
Il ne faut jamais payer par virement, un achat en CB et un virement sont deux choses différentes, un virement une fois qu’il a été fait n’est pas rétro actif, vous leurs avez volontairement fourni vos fonds via leur RIB donc l’argent est à eux désormais, les paiements par cartes ont une toute autre politique, le chargeback, les assurances aux paiements sur internet que propose différentes banques mais qui ne concernent que les CB.
J’ai failli me faire avoir sur un autre site marchand dans le même style que thegamesdept donc je compatis….
