Fake Business Address:
The address “25752 Chrisanta Drive, Mission Viejo California 92691, United States” is fake. Google map shows it is a single family home and not a business or office space. Even when we contacted the residents we were told there’s no such business within or around the premises. Hence, we can’t actually vouch for the store’s location. It could be located in the mountains or China for all we know.
Poor Customer Support:
The store two email addresses which are ‘[email protected]’ and ‘[email protected].’The former does not really serve its purpose. Mails sent to it were not delivered. And the latter has been used by multiple fraudulent online stores. As a result of these, customers have absolutely no means of contacting the store after making a purchase.
Not Properly Secured:
The Leather Bear isn’t risk-free, it isn’t secured with McAfee or Norton. The website is vulnerable to hackers who can tamper with customer’s personal and financial data. As a result of this, your credit card isn’t safe on the website. Meanwhile, one can’t vouch for the store’s authenticity as it was only registered on April 2022.

Got scammed from theleatherbear.com, never received my item, and emails never went through looked up address and it’s a house, so I should of checked out the company first, they got me for $98.00, I’ll learn next time
same $98 – must be just below the minimum amount so the authorities won’t respond. too bad there are hundreds of thousands of people looking for a good deal to get scammed. I bought a gaming chair and got a receipt from UENAR Incorporated which is a legit company in Canada but it is an engineering firm and not a leather store.

I recently ordered some fence sections – yes, outdoor garden fence – from this company. Because I knew nothing about the company, I took the precaution of paying through my PayPal account. The first tipoff that there was a problem was when I tried to order 6 packages (for a total of $588) and the site would not put the purchase through. Not knowing if this was an issue with Leatherbear or my debit card (my bank can be very twitchy sometimes), I persisted and ended up ordering four of the sets separately. Only then did I discover that each payment went to a different person – and yes, they were all the names of individuals and not the company. I never received my items, I only got generic responses to my emails, and so I went to PayPal. PayPal issued an immediate refund. Fortunately, my only loss was a bit of time. This is definitely a scam.
No question this is a scam website. Paid through Paypal, otherwise I would have been out my full purchase price. Avoid at all costs.

Why is the FTC allowing the scumbag to stay online scamming consumers; this makes no sense!! I knew something was up when I saw a sofa I had just priced for $600 was on their site for $98. That’s why I’m here because I do my research prior to spending my hard earned cash. I don’t want the headache of trying to get it back. Something needs to be done and quick! There’s no reason why it’s been proven to be a scam and yet the site remains.
Also was too excited finding a tool on Leather Bear for crazy cheap to do any research. Filed for a refund through PayPal so hope I get my $98 bucks back.
Total scam. Never even received email with order verification and reached out to them twice. Finally reported to my cc company.

LeatherBear..! What a fking joke! Paid for my item on 7/19/22, order status still shows “not shipped” luckily I paid with PayPal, and they were happy to refund my money..numerous calls and emails with no response from the “company”….TOTAL SCAM! Stay away.
