Tipping Points Technology Ltd Scam Recruitment Email: Fake Job Offer!
Have you received an email from Tipping Points Technology for a job interview? Does it say you should contact the Assistant Hiring Manager Mrs. Rhoda Armstrong for an interview? Beware! It’s a scam!
As of May 31st 2023, lots of people have reported receiving this exact email from Tipping Points Technology Ltd. However, it’s a scam, if you contact the Hiring manager you’ll end up losing your money.
I received the email today, and I decided to play along to know if the job offer is real. First of all, for a firm that intends to pay you $23 per hour, their website ‘tippingpointstechnologyltd.com’ is not professionally designed. Both the frontend and backend looks shabby like what an amateur created. Secondly, the pay is too good to be true. $23 per hour for entry level remote data entry isn’t a realistic offer.
Thirdly, when I contacted the hiring manager, she offered to send me a check to pay for equipment. This is before they even went through any new hire paperwork. Huge Redflag!
This is where the scam comes in.
The money for the equipment would go to an offshore account, and the company would stop communicating with me. This is exactly how recruitment job scams work, and Tipping Points Technology Ltd is no different. Meanwhile, the scammers have used the following email address; [email protected]

How To Know Similar Scam Text
- The message creates a sense of urgency to get you to act quickly. For example, it may claim that your bank account has been closed or that you’ve won a free gift.
- Next, the scammer will try to get you to either respond, click on a link, or call a number or send a message to an email.
- You aren’t expecting a delivery from this company.
- The text message comes from a long or unusual phone number.
- The link in the text is obscured or doesn’t come from an official companies like PayPal, Costco, USPS, UPS, FedEx website etc.

You should delete and ignore it immediately as it is obviously a phishing scam. Meanwhile, do not forget to inform your family and friends. They should not respond to the email if and when they receive such message.
