Turbo Heat 360 Reviews: Does This Portable Heater Really Work? Find Out!
Winter is here again and you’re all looking for energy efficient means of warming your house without increasing electricity bills. Turbo Heat 360 promises just that.
However, there has been complaints from users about its efficacy in heating up rooms. Can this small portable heater really warm up a room? Here’s my honest reviews.
In this review, I share my experience using Turbo Heat 360 heater, its pros, cons, and everything you need to know.
But first, lets take a brief look at the product’s description and features.
Overview of Turbo Heat 360
Handy Heater Turbo Heat is a compact and cord free space heater that uses a ceramic heating technology to heat up the room. It is said to heat up to 250 square feet, consumes little energy, has an adjustable thermostat and is whisper quiet. Users only need to simply plug it into a wall outlet, set the thermostat to preferred degree, and enjoy warm soothing heat.
According to the official website ‘buyturboheat.com’, the Turbo Heat 360 can be used in living rooms, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, basements, offices and even in RVs and around pet beds.
Sounds incredibly right?
My Experience Using Handy Heater Turbo Heat 360
My goal was to warm up my bedroom as a backup at night, but it didn’t really work as I had expected. My bedroom is around 25 square meters, and this heater could only warm up a tiny space around it. I had to practically snuggle with it to feel any heat. So, the claims that it warms up to 250ft is false.
Aside that, it pretty much works well, especially when used in a small space like bathroom or cabin, or even in the office. This is a cheap space heater, so you get what you pay for. Also, I noticed that since it is plugged directly into an outlet, it’s low enough that the cats can rub up against it. This may not be safe for babies and pets. My foster cat turned it on just by rubbing against it. So, the power button is pretty sensitive. I only plug it in when in use and then I unplug it when I’m not home.
Turbo Heat 360 Pros: What I Like About This Handy Heater
- It doesn’t take up much space and looks pretty sleek.
- The thermostat is adjustable
- Doesn’t make a loud noise like the Heatpal I bought earlier
Handy Heater Turbo Heat Cons
- Doesn’t warm up to 250ft as claimed
- Only works efficiently in small areas like cabins and bathrooms
Does The Turbo Heat Really Work?
Yes, it does work, but not as advertised. It can’t warm up a large room, or 250ft square metre as claimed. In reality, it could only warm up a 5-square-foot area, which is about the size of a small store or cabin. So, if you’re looking to heat a larger room or one with high ceilings, it’s not the solution.
How To Use
- Plug and Play: Just plug Turbo Heat 360 into a wall socket, and you’re good to go.
- Temperature Control: Easily adjust the heat output from a comfy 60 to a toasty 90 degrees.
