Univold Reviews; Is univold.com Scam? See 5 Redflags!
Is Univold Tool Company a legit store to buy RTX graphic card or a rip off scam? read this review to find out!
With online scams springing up every day, we have taken the responsibility of reviewing products, stores, websites etc for our reader’s financial safety.
This univold.com reviews exposes everything you need to know about the store, and why it is fraudulent.
univold.com – How Does This Website Work?
Univold Tool Company com claims it is an online store that sells different kinds of graphic cards, mobile accessories, etc. BUT it is selling some of these items for super cheap prices.
The website is well designed with a user friendly interface, however this doesn’t make it a safe site to shop from. A lot of fraudulent websites make their website look standard in order to convince buyers into thinking they’re legit.
This is also the case with univold.com
Univold.com is Fraudulent due to the Following Reasons;
Fake Address
Univold has provided its company address as ”1807H Santa Rita Pleasanton, CA USA” but the address is a strip mall. The initial view is what you see on Google map, but those aren’t unit H.
Unit H is at the far right end of the building. It’s a UPS store
As can be seen in this review, fake address is one of the traits of fraudulent websites.
Customer Support
Univold has provided its phone number as (925) 272-8755 but the number is not reachable. We also found out that this same phone number is being used by another site known as Boardwalktel.com which also seems suspicious.
The email address is also problematic. [email protected] is not related to its domain name and does not look professional.
Alarming Discounts
A look at the items offered by univold.com showed they are offering all their goods for discount prices. Not only are the price of items ridiculously cheap, you can not buy them for such prices in any known store.
At the moment Univold is trending because it has products like “Gigabyte RTX 3080 GAMING OC 10 GB GRAPHICS CARD GV-N3080GAMINGOC10GD” which is out of stock in reputable websites. So, it is selling this product at a higher price than the real value but we don’t think it will even deliver this item.
Suspicious Nature
Univold claims it is a tool company but on its website it has images of bags, watches and clothes which it sells. This look suspicious as we can’t understand the connection between a tools company and fashion.
Customer Reviews
This shopping website does not make provision for customer reviews. When a buyer shops from this store, there is no option to rate the experience or drop a review.
This doesn’t look good. Trustworthy stores are always transparent about their transactions. For Example in Amazon and Aliexpress, buyers can easily see reviews left by customers and decide for themselves if the seller is worth the buy.
Furthermore, no reliable source has received Univold customer Reviews for any of the products sold in the store.
Is Univold.com Legit?
Univold does not appear to be a legit online store. It uses a fake address, fake phone number, and offers its products for prices that are too good to be true.
Moreover, it has not provided a working social media page, or have trusted seals that vouch for its authenticity.
Conclusion:
univold.com is not a reliable online store to shop from. It has a poor trust score, and as such not recommended by us. Customers who shop from this store would either receive an inferior product, a different cheap item or nothing.
Unreliable websites like this are not safe to shop from. This is because shopping from this store expose buyers to the risk of hacked credit card and overcharged fees.
If you you been ripped off by this store you should make a complaint to your bank and request for a chargeback immediately. It is also important that you change your credit card info or get another credit card.
It is true that online shopping has made life easier, however when ordering things online check out the following-
How old is the website? Does it provide return address? Are there customer reviews online? Do the social media icons work?
Always remember you can get the items from trusted sellers on Amazon, like the ones provided above. One of the advantages of shopping from amazon is the return policy. You can always return your items and get your money back if you are not satisfied with your order.

I to came across “Univold’s” site and they seemed waaaaay to good to be true. I also found one BBB review that I’d like to share that was dated from 3-15-2020 (which can be found on BBB’s web-site. Univold is also not a member of the BBB.

So I was searching for some upgrade hardware for my PC and I ran across the part I desired at a pretty great price on their site univold.com (Via google shopping) I found the item for less than expected and decided to try to buy it. Payment failed to process multiple times. I decided to call. Pressing 1 just loops apparently when outside business hours, and voicebox for customer service was full. So I decided to try to email them. I inquired about it’s price and shared my interest in purchasing the item. They then respond and say there is a 15 item minimum purchase and that the item was $200+ dollars more. (In less than a period of an hour with an original listing of minimum one item and 2 hundred plus less in cost.) They then typed at me defiantly in caps when I pointed this out and said that their prices and quantities are subject to change. When it suits them and when they are called out apparently! They say it was in their terms of service. Let’s be honest, the price was put up wrong… not for just that item but several others like it that I pointed out soon after. So I get yelled at (in caps) that I am mistaken and that they use their ToS/ToU as a deflect to just make excuses to cover their ineptitudes at proper pricing/cost control. I have seen some red flags before, but the whole experience reeks of shadiness to me. I would be absolutely livid as a shop owner to try to buy some parts and find minimum unit lots and price per unit jumps exceeding $200 all of a sudden. That would turn me off in a heartbeat from doing business with them every again because it sounds like a good way to get screwed over on what would otherwise be a typical inventory stocking. Very rude and unprofessional customer service, and they leave much to be desired on how they handle issues like this.
Thanks for looking into Univold. Way to many shady sites out there……
