How Much Is The Settlement
Vivint is agreeing to pay up $9.75 million to settle this FCRA class action lawsuit. If you were affected by this mess and had an account created using your stolen credit info, and then got hassled by collections, you could get a payment of $1,200. But if the fraudulent account didn’t lead to any collection efforts, you could still get. You can only get one type of compensation per account. So, it’s either $250 or $1,200, not both.
